What read-only access means

Connecting an institution lets Nora retrieve supported account information, balances and transactions through Plaid. You type your bank credentials into Plaid or your institution, and Nora does not store them.

Nora cannot make payments, start transfers, withdraw money or place trades. Editing a category or a note changes your Nora records and leaves the bank transaction as it is.
