Disconnecting and deleting data
Disconnecting a bank and deleting its imported data are separate actions.
Last updated 2026-10-13
Disconnect the institution from its connection controls. That stops normal synchronization and asks the provider to remove its access, which sometimes needs a retry before it finishes.
Once the provider access is gone, use the separate delete-data action to take that connection’s imported data out of normal product use. That is not the same as erasing it immediately from every storage system and backup.
The Privacy Policy covers the limits on retention and deletion. To request account-wide deletion, or if a removal is stuck, email support@nora-fi.com.
